Mindfulness Courses and Sessions
Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy
Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy sessions are available by appointment. During these sessions we will help you with the issues you are having in your life so that you can apply mindfulness and meditation practices in realistic and practical ways. These practices have been proved to be very useful in helping to reduce stress and anxiety and help with the symptoms of depression. Mindfulness for a Happier Life
A Mindfulness meditation course will take place on Saturday 1st February 2020 from 10am to 4pm. This one day course is suitable for both beginners and those who have some experience of mindfulness meditation. It is designed to help you bring greater happiness into your life by practicing generosity and loving kindness, both in meditation and in daily life. These practices have proved to be very useful in helping to reduce stress and the symptoms of anxiety. They may also help to develop deeper friendships and improve intimate relationships. Mindfulness-based Stress Management
A 5 week Mindfulness-Based Stress Management Course will commence on Thursday 13th February 2020 from 7pm to 9.30pm. During this course you will learn mindfulness practices that will help you to manage the daily stresses in your life. They may also help you find relief from high blood pressure, insomnia, anxiety and depression. This course is also designed to help you improve your communications and strengthen your relationships. Mindfulness for Healthcare
Courses and workshops are available teaching Mindfulness-based stress management practices to those training or working in the healthcare sector.
These courses are suitable for nurses and care workers helping them to manage the stresses that are a part of their work.
Research has shown that mindfulness practices can improve qualities such as empathy and self-compassion. They may also contribute to improved patient outcomes, excellence in nursing practice and higher levels of patient satisfaction.
Training can take place in a classroom or other environment with groups of up to around 20 persons.
All our trainers are qualified and experienced healthcare professionals and available for immediate available for immediate consultations and training.

Mindfulness at Work
Mindfulness has been shown to enhance physical and mental health and improve performance in the workplace. Courses are available for Workplace Stress, for Health and Wellbeing and to enhance Sports Performance.
We offer free introductory talks on mindfulness and are happy to come to your place of work or centre to discuss your requirements.
Mindfulness courses are tailored to respond to the needs of a specific work environment and provide individuals with the opportunity to learn and put into practice new knowledge and skills
Fully structured one day workshops and courses are available at a location that suits your needs. We also use the training facilities in the Barbican Centre in Drogheda or for smaller groups, in our room in Clogherhead.

One to One Services
During these sessions we will help you with the issues you are having in your life. Whether you are feeling stressed, experiencing anxiety or difficulties in relationships, mindfulness-based approaches can be very effective in providing relief.
Our approach is based on Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). It will help you to apply mindfulness and meditation practices in realistic and practical ways. You will also learn about mindfulness and receive guidance in the form of Cd’s or downloaded tracks.
Sessions are available by appointment face to face or using Skype or other web-based platforms.

Mindfulness Meditation Sessions
Drop-in meditation sessions for beginners take place on Monday evenings from 7pm to 8pm in The Barbican Centre, William St, Drogheda
Beginners are welcome and no need to Book “Just drop in and sit”.
These sessions are free but a suggested donation of €5 towards the use of the centre will be very much appreciated. (See www.thebarbican.ie for directions)
